Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu.
Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi, drive North across the equator to the Samburu National Reserve (360km) and check in to your lodge for lunch. After lunch relax then make evening game drive . Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena/ Elephant bedroom camp.
Day 2: Samburu
Morning and afternoon game drives in the open savannah which is transversed by Uaso Nyiro River. The river is populated by hippos and crocodiles, the park is a home to a host of animals including several species which are rarely seen in numbers elsewhere including Gravy’s Zebra, reticulated giraffes and long necked generuks.
Day 3: Samburu – Aberdares
From Samburu drive South to the Aberdares (220km) and have lunch at Outspan Hotel. During lunch enjoy views of Mt Kenya framed by the white water of the Chania River. After lunch transfer to treetops the most famous game viewing lodge in the world, overlooking a water hole and saltlick high in the Aberdare National Park.
Day 4: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru
An early morning transfer to Outspan hotel for breakfast. Descend into the Great Rift Valley and continue on to Lake Nakuru. Have lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. After lunch drive in Lake Nakuru National park for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge, Mbweha Camp or similar.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
Drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve (320km). Have lunch at Keekorok Lodge built in a prime position to enjoy wildebeest migration. After lunch make game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
Day 6: Maasai Mara
Enjoy an early morning balloon flight over the Mara, followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Relax by the pool overlooking the endless panorama stretched out before you. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Keekorok lodge or similar camp.
Day 7: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Have breakfast and make last game drive while exiting the park. Drive to Nairobi and drop off at your respective hotel/airport .
